Omaha, Neb. - The seventh annual Liz's Legacy soccer tournament, Kicks for a Cure, raised nearly $240,000 for cancer research at Creighton University and the University of Nebraska Medical Center during the two-day event held April 20 and 21, 2012. |

LollapaLUDA raises $1,400 for Liz's Legacy in 2011 |

Lincoln, Neb. - For four years, the Lincoln Ultimate Disc Association (LUDA) has hosted seasonal ultimate frisbee leagues and LollapaLUDA, a one-day ultimate tournament held in October. Originally, LollapaLUDA was intended to be a free tournament with no real purpose other than getting a bunch of people together to play ultimate for an afternoon. However, in 2010, the aim of the tournament became that of charity. |

2011 Kicks for a Cure Raises $181,000 |

Omaha, Neb. - The sixth annual Kicks for a Cure soccer exhibition, a benefit for the Liz's Legacy Cancer Fund, was held April 15 and 16, 2011, and raised more than $181,000 - a record amount for the annual event. |
