Robin Roberts to receive Ambassador of Hope Award
UNMC Today reports that Robin Robers, co-anchor of ABC's "Good Morning America" and a breat cancer survivor, will be honored at the Ambassador of hope Gala on Oct. 18 at Qwest Center of Omaha.  more
 
Medical center receives distinction for complex, rare cancers

Medical center ranks twice on list of best U.S. hospitals

UNMC's hospital partner, The Nebraska Medical Center, has been named one of America's best hospitals in U.S. News & World Report's 2008 publication of America's Best Hospitals.

2008 Kicks for a Cure

The 2008 Kicks for a Cure Event brought in record numbers, both in fans and money raised to support Liz's Legacy.  The event, held April 19-20, 2008, raised $151,500 for research projects at the UNMC Eppley Cancer Center and the Hereditary Cancer Center at Creighton University.
